Amber Fiser is joining the staff at Missouri, she announced on social media on Thursday evening.
Fiser will join the Tigers as a graduate assistant.
“So excited to announce that I will be continuing my master’s and be a GA for the Mizzou softball program!! Can’t wait for this new journey #GoTigers,” Fiser wrote on Twitter.
During her playing career at Minnesota, which stretched from 2017-21, Fiser was the Big Ten Pitcher of the Year in 2019 and etched her name all throughout the Gopher program record books. A three-time All-Big Ten honoree, Fiser also earned All-American honors in 2019 and led the Gophers to their first-ever berth in the Women’s College World Series that same year.
This summer, Fiser is serving as an assistant coach in the Florida Gulf Coast League, part of the coaching staff leading the Myakka City River Mocs in the league.
