New entrants into the transfer portal have slowed down considerably over the last week, an understandable happening after July 1st. Through the NCAA’s one-time transfer exemption, 7/1 is the deadline for players to notify their current teams of an intent to transfer while still maintaining immediate eligibility at their eventual new schools.
Last week was busy on another front, however, with a number of players committing to their new homes. Some moves were officially announced by the schools, while others were made public by the players themselves on social media.
