Oklahoma All-American infielder Tiare Jennings threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Los Angeles Dodgers game on Monday night.
Jennings was recognized before the game and threw out the first pitch before the Dodgers took on the Pittsburgh Pirates. Jennings was the second person from Oklahoma softball to throw out the first pitch in LA in recent weeks; head coach Patty Gasso threw out the first pitch earlier this month.
Oklahoma softball posted a video of Jennings’ first pitch on Tuesday.
The NFCA Freshman of the Year during her true freshman season in 2021, Jennings was a unanimous first-team All-American selection and was named to the Women’s College World Series All-Tournament Team. In her true freshman campaign, Jennings batted .462, with 27 home runs and 92 RBIs. She posted a 1.000 slugging percentage and a .517 on-base percentage.
