Clemson's Valerie Cagle was named the JWOS Player of the Week on Tuesday, and here we highlight some of the top performances that caught our eye from around the nation in Week 4.
Keely Rochard, Virginia Tech
While the Hokies' ace has already earned workhorse-level innings for her team, this weekend was arguably the finest performance of her season to-date. Rochard appeared in all five of her team's games on the week, recording forty-four strikeouts and allowing just two walks in thirty innings of work. An impressive note from the week was one streak of forty-three consecutive opposing hitters who did not record a hit against Rochard in the midst of the weekend slate. She threw her fourth career no-hitter against Jacksonville, recording thirteen strikeouts in the affair.
