Stetson head coach Frank Griffin earned the 750th win of his tenure leading the Hatters over the weekend.
Griffin, who is in his 24th season as the Hatters’ head coach, reached the milestone with a win over Northern Kentucky on Friday afternoon. The victory also marked the 975th win of Griffin’s career, which includes seven seasons as the head coach at Winthrop from 1983-89.
During his tenure at Stetson, Griffin has twice led the Hatters to the ASun Conference Championship and an NCAA regional berth, with the most recent appearance coming in 2014. He entered the 2020 season ranked 24th amongst active Division I coaches in career wins, and ranks in the top forty all-time in career victories.
The Hatters currently sit at 11-14 on the 2020 campaign, and own wins over Villanova and Sam Houston State to highlight the early season slate.
