Alabama won the SEC regular season title, while Florida ran the table and earned the conference tournament championship. All thirteen conference teams were selected to the NCAA tournament.
Thirteen of the fourteen league schools sponsor softball, including Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.
