Winn-Ratliff spent the past three seasons as the head coach at Tyler Junior College. During her tenure at TJC, she collected an overall record of 164-42. The Apaches upped their win total in each of Winn-Ratliff’s years at the helm, culminating in a 58-9 overall record during the 2019 campaign.
Prior to taking over the program at TJC, Winn-Ratliff spent twelve years as the head coach at Western Nebraska Community College, where she recorded more than 500 victories and led that program to the NJCAA national tournament on five occasions.
In addition to the time at TJC and Western Nebraska, Winn-Ratliff’s coaching resume includes stints as an assistant coach at Bemidji State, Armstrong Atlantic State, and Central Methodist.
Of note, Winn-Ratliff has a direct connection to Louisiana Tech: Lady Techsters assistant & interim head coach Bianca Duran played at Western Nebraska under Winn-Ratliff in 2012 and ’13.
At Louisiana Tech, Winn-Ratliff will take over a Lady Techsters program that went 45-16 overall during the 2019 season. The squad posted a 19-5 record in Conference USA play, tied for the conference regular-season title, and won the C-USA tournament to earn the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
