Alysen Febrey of Georgia has entered her name into the NCAA’s transfer portal, sources informed JWOS on Thursday.
A rising senior, Febrey finished tied for third on the Bulldogs’ roster during the 2019 season with thirty-six RBIs, while she ranked sixth on the roster in at-bats (153), fifth in batting average (.314), and tied for third on the team with nine home runs.
Febrey earned all-Region honors in 2019 for the second season in a row, with her second consecutive nod to the all-Southeast Region second team.
During the 2018 season, Febrey was the Bulldogs’ starting first baseman, and finished the year with a .389 batting average, nine home runs, and seventy-two hits. The latter mark ranked sixth in the SEC, while her eighteen doubles were the second-highest mark in the conference that season.
Febrey is a native of Peachtree City, Georgia. She is one of just two Bulldogs to enter the transfer portal since the end of the 2019 season.
