Alabama outfielder KB Sides has entered the NCAA’s transfer portal, sources confirmed to JWOS on Wednesday.

Sides, a true senior in 2021, has one season of eligibility remaining under the NCAA’s extended eligibility waiver following the COVID-19 pandemic. She does carry a graduate transfer designation.

The Crimson Tide’s starting right fielder, Sides has been an every-day starter for the Tide since her sophomore season. She was a third-team all-region honoree this year, and was a member of the SEC All-Tournament team in 2019.

Statistically, Sides finished fifth on the Crimson Tide roster this season with a .314 batting average and fourth on the team with an .814 OPS. She hit eleven doubles, scored 33 runs, and recorded twenty RBIs.

Charlie Potter of Bama OnLine first reported Sides entering the portal.
