TRENDING NOW: NCAA TRANSFER TRACKER / COLLEGE COACHING TRACKER
Radford has named Alisa Tasler as the program’s new head coach.
Tasler spent the last decade at Division II Concord University, posting an overall record of 247-228 with the program. She shepherded the first two All-Americans in program history in 2015 and 2018.
“We are thrilled that Alisa Tasler is our new softball coach,” said Radford athletic director Robert Lineburg. “She has done an excellent job as the head coach at Concord University leading that program to new heights. She has tremendous experience as a head coach and she has great passion for the game of softball. We are very excited about the future of Highlander Softball.”
Prior to Concord, Tasler spent six years as the head coach at Neosho Community College in Kansas. Her coaching resume also includes a stint as assistant coach at Pittsburg State.
During the 2021 season, Radford finished with a 22-32 overall record and an 11-10 showing in conference play. Previous head coach Hope Creasy resigned in early June.
