TRENDING NOW: NCAA TRANSFER TRACKER / COLLEGE COACHING TRACKER
Montana has announced the addition of Alison Mitchell to their coaching staff.
Mitchell most recently was the head coach at Division II Central Washington, leading the Wildcats for the past two seasons. She led the CWU program to a 31-25 showing in her two abbreviated seasons at the helm, a mark that included a 13-7 showing in conference matchups. She led the Wildcats to the NCAA tournament in 2021.
Prior to taking the helm at Central Washington, Mitchell spent a number of years coaching at the high school and travel ball levels. During her tenure at Redmond High School, where she served as an assistant coach from 2013-16 and head coach from 2016-20, the squad posted a 73-10 overall record and a 42-1 league record.
The hiring of Mitchell fills one of Montana’s two vacant assistant coaching positions; the Grizzlies saw previous assistants Sarah O’Brien and Magali Frezzoti depart this summer for other coaching positions at various levels.
