Army head coach Cheryl Milligan earned the 500th win of her career on Saturday.
The Black Knights earned a 6-3 win over Yale to clinch the milestone victory for Milligan. The win was Milligan’s tenth at the helm of Army; formerly the head coach at Division III Tufts, Milligan is now in her first season at the helm of the Black Knights.
During her 15-year tenure at Tufts, Milligan assembled as 490-148 overall record, and led the Jumbos to three Division III National Championships from 2013-15. She helmed the Jumbos’ program to a perfect 51-0 season in 2015, and earned eight Coach of the Year honors in the NESCAC during her tenure at the school.
Now boasting an 11-9 record on the season following another win after the milestone victory, Milligan has the Black Knights off to their best start since 2017.
