Kvilhaug spent the past twelve seasons as the head coach of the Red Storm, earning 281 victories during her tenure with the program. Thomas was a three-time first-team all-American selection during her Missouri career that stretched from 2009-2013, the only Tiger to receive a first-team nomination on three different occasions during her career. The Mississippi State softball program has announced plans to retire the jersey of Alex Wilcox later this fall. Wilcox wore the #8 jersey during her single season as a Bulldog. She fought ovarian cancer for several years after being diagnosed in 2015 with the disease, but appeared in eight games during her freshman season in Starkville. Wilcox recorded three hits in fifteen at-bats during that time, despite being in the midst of receiving chemotherapy treatments. Roark spent the last four seasons as an assistant coach at USC-Upstate, serving as the Spartans’ pitching coach.
