Colgate has their new head coach, having hired former Bucknell assistant Marissa Myers to fill the position.
Myers spent the past four seasons at Bucknell as an assistant coach, serving under both Bonnie Skrenta and Courtnay Foster during their respective tenures. Prior to joining the Bison coaching staff, Myers also had been an assistant coach at Tufts, including the program’s 2013 Division III championship-winning club.
As a player, Myers was a four-year starting catcher at Clarion University.
At Colgate, she replaces Melissa Finley who resigned earlier in July. The Raiders posted a 13-30-1 overall record in 2017, with a 3-15 mark in conference play.
