Prior to starting the program at Carnegie Mellon, Krysiak spent five years as the head coach at the University of Dallas. During her time leading that program, Krysiak shepherded the squad to seventy-nine wins, a mark that ranks second all-time in program history. She tutored the program’s first-ever conference Player of the Year in 2017.
In addition to her time at Carnegie Mellon and Dallas, Krysiak’s coaching resume includes a single season as an assistant at Prairie View A&M and stints on staff at Ottawa University in Kansas and Buena Vista University.
At Columbia, Krysiak will join a Lions program that posted a 24-21 overall record during the 2019 season. The Lions collected a 15-6 mark in Ivy League play, reaching the conference’s Playoff Series, the highest finish in program history. The squad’s pitching staff posted a 4.00 ERA as a unit, with 125 strikeouts and an opponent’s batting average of .299.
