The Skyhawks head coach for the past four seasons, Fracker collected a 53-150 overall record during her tenure with the program, collecting a .353 winning percentage. She was the sixth head coach in program history.
In a statement, Fort Lewis athletic director Brandon Leimbach said, “I have accepted Elle’s letter of resignation and would like to thank Coach Fracker for her dedication to the FLC softball program. We wish her the best moving forward.”
Prior to taking the helm at Fort Lewis, Fracker was head coach at Valley City State University in North Dakota. Her coaching resume also includes a year as an assistant coach at VCSU, as well as stints on staff at Oberlin College and Drexel.
During the 2019 season, the Skyhawks collected a 16-37 overall record, with an 11-29 showing in conference play. The squad posted a team batting average of .293, while the pitching staff recorded a 6.14 cumulative ERA as a unit.
According to the school release, a national search will begin “immediately” to find a new head coach.
