Hall spent the last seven season on the coaching staff at Ohio State, helping guide the Buckeyes’ offense to a number of record-breaking feats during her tenure.
The Ohio State offense set or broke a number of program records under Hall’s tutelage, including the Buckeyes’ single-season batting average (.348) and home run (74) records during the 2015 season. During the 2019 season, the Buckeyes batted .296 as a team, with fifty-seven home runs and a .374 on-base percentage as a unit.
Prior to her time on the Buckeyes’ staff, Hall spent five years on staff at Ohio University, ultimately earning the title of Associate Head Coach with the Bobcats. There, she coached under current Pittsburgh head coach Jodi Hermanek and helped guide the Bobcats’ program to a number of record-breaking offensive performances in their own right. Hall also spent a single season on staff at her alma mater, Illinois.
As a player, Hall finished her career at Illinois as the program’s career record holder for individual batting average and also set the Fighting Illini’s single-season mark in that same category. She was named a first-team all-American in 2006, the first time an Illinois player had received such an honor.
Pittsburgh finished the 2019 season with a 13-41 overall record in their first season under Hermanek’s guidance. The Panthers posted a 7-17 record in conference play, and finished the year with a team batting average of .244.
