Former Creighton pitcher Kiele Miller is transferring to Boise State, she announced on social media on Wednesday night.
“So excited to announce my commitment to Boise State University!! i can’t wait for the adventures and opportunities to come! #Bleedblue!!” she wrote on Twitter.
During three years at Creighton, Miller collected 334 career strikeouts, a mark that ranks sixth in Bluejay program history. As a freshman in 2018, she led the Big East in ERA with a 1.42 mark and was named a second-team all-conference selection after that year.
Prior to the abrupt end to the 2020 season, Miller had assembled a 2.73 ERA and 93 strikeouts in 77 innings of work across fifteen appearances.
Boise State finished the 2020 season with a 14-11 overall record, and had yet to begin conference play when the COVID-19 pandemic ended the campaign.
