Fox will be one of nine former Wildcats who will be inducted into the Hall of Fame during a ceremony on August 31st. The group will be introduced at halftime of the Arizona/BYU football games on September 1.
During her career at Arizona, from 2004-2007, Fox earned two all-American honors, in 2005 and 2006, and ended her career as a Wildcat with a .350 batting average and 260 career hits. She was selected fifth overall in the 2007 NPF draft.
Hired as the UNLV head coach this summer, Fox has also served as the head coach at UT-Arlington and as an assistant at Texas Tech and Murray State after beginning her coaching career at her alma mater.
Fox is the 22nd former Wildcat softballer to be inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame, and the first since 2016.
Joining Fox in induction in 2018 are: Klaus Ambrosch (track & field); Shelley Duncan (baseball); Charmaine Gale (track & field); Adam Kuehl (track & field); Mallory Miller (soccer); Burdette Morago (baseball); Doug Towne (swimming & diving); and Karin Wurm (gymnastics).
