Texas has added another transfer, with former Houston pitcher Logan Hulon joining the Longhorns squad.
Hulon announced her destination on social media, writing “houston -> transfer portal -> AUSTIN
HOOK’EM BABY!”
During her two seasons at Houston, Hulon posted a 3.54 ERA with ten wins and 130.2 innings pitched. In 2020, she led the Cougars’ staff with eleven appearances in the circle and assembled a 3.37 ERA and an opponent’s batting average of .227.
In 2021, Hulon notched a 3.65 ERA and a 4-8 record in the circle. She appeared in twenty-five games, starting eleven, and collected 49 strikeouts in 76.2 innings of work. She allowed nineteen extra base hits, including nine home runs, and held opposing hitters to a .282 batting average.
Hulon’s transfer to Texas marks the second arm that the Longhorns have added via the portal this summer. Former North Carolina State pitcher Estelle Czech joined the Horns earlier this summer.
