Jazmyn Rollin has entered the NCAA’s transfer portal, sources confirmed to JWOS on Friday morning.
Rollin’s name first appeared in the portal on May 5th, which was Wednesday.
A hard-hitting infielder, Rollin turned heads with her hot start to the 2020 season. She finished the abbreviated year with a .364 batting average and led the Tigers in home runs with seven. She also led the team with fourteen stolen bases during the shortened year, almost half of the entire team’s total of 29 swiped bags.
In 2021, Rollin has played sparingly and owns just a .150 batting average with no home runs and one RBI. She has appeared in sixteen games, making eight stats, and earned twenty at-bats. She was supplanted at shortstop by freshman sensation Jenna Laid, who currently leads the Tigers with a batting average over .400.
As a freshman in 2019, Rollin earned a nod to the SEC’s All-Freshman team and finished that year with a slash line of .331/10/41.
