Leddy completed her playing career at NDSU with the 2019 season, when she was named the Summit League’s Pitcher of the Year after posting a 1.85 ERA and twenty-one wins in the circle on the year. She posted a strikeout/walk ratio better than 3/1 and also recorded her first career no-hitter during her senior year.
A four-time all-conference selection, Leddy earned a nod to the all-Summit second-team in each of the first three seasons of her career, before headlining the all-conference first team after her senior season. The right-hander was twice named to the Summit League’s all-tournament league and was the 2016 Most Valuable Player of the conference tournament; she helped lead NDSU to the NCAA regional round in all four years of her playing career.
During her career, Leddy posted a 53-34 overall record, with seventeen shutouts and 427 strikeouts. She recorded a 3.32 ERA during her four-year tenure as a Bison, with 112 appearances in the circle to her credit.
A native of Middleburg, Florida, Leddy returns to her home state to begin her coaching career with the Ospreys. She will work with first-year pitching coach Cortney Radke with the program’s pitching staff, helping tutor a unit that finished the 2019 season with a 2.83 cumulative ERA and 238 strikeouts, along with an opponent’s batting average of .257.
