UPDATE 05/14/20: On Thursday, Chattanooga officially announced the addition of Phillips to their roster. “She truly changes the dynamics of Mocs Softball,” said Chattanooga head coach Frank Reed. Phillips has three years of eligibility remaining to compete.

Tennessee infielder Kaili Phillips has entered the transfer portal, sources informed JWOS on Tuesday.
Phillips started twenty-one games for the Lady Vols during the abbreviated 2020 season, primarily at third base. She collected eleven RBIs, which tied for fourth on the roster, and scored six runs.
During her freshman season in 2019, Phillips finished third on the Lady Vols’ roster with thirty-six RBIs. She batted .246 as a rookie, with ten home runs and a .493 slugging percentage. She started fifty games, scoring thirty runs and finishing with a .357 on-base percentage.
After the 2019 season, Phillips earned a mention on the SEC All-Freshman team.
