As the UCLA Bruins and Oklahoma Sooners get set to face off in the Women’s College World Series Championship Series, we’re breaking down the two teams head-to-head around the diamond. By position, each player is broken down according to their defensive scouting report (including 2019 conference defensive recognition and All-American status); 2019 season fielding percentage; Women’s College World Series performance grade (includes errors, if applicable); and “big play factor.” The big play factor indicates the position player that we at JWOS believe has the most potential to make the big play in a crucial moment during the championship series. Each position indicates which player has an advantage over the other based on the listed criteria.

Note: The Big 12 Conference does not recognize an all-defensive conference team, as the PAC-12 does.
