What is she known for? Glosson was named the Missouri Valley conference’s Pitcher of the Year in 2010 after posting a 25-14 record during the year and a 2.02 ERA in 225.2 innings of work. She earned all-conference honors in 2010 and 2011 and was named an NFCA all-region selection in her junior year of 2010.
Here’s something interesting… Danielle is a certified personal trainer and received her undergraduate degree from SIU in the field of Human Nutrition and Dietectics.
Quotable quote: “[If I had to give a piece of advice to the next generation of players], I would tell them to never be satisfied. Complacency prohibits your ability to grow and get better. Set your goals high and work your butt off to get there. During the process, take criticism… coaches are not being mean; they are pushing you to be better.”
What’s she up to now? After six seasons as an assistant coach at Western Carolina, including one year as the program’s Associate Head Coach, Danielle left the Catamounts this summer. In September, she was named the new Director of Development in the athletic department at High Point University, a Division I school in the Big South conference. In her role, she primarily works in the field of fundraising for the Panthers’ athletic department.
