Adrian Gregory has stepped down as the head coach at Texas Tech, the school announced on Tuesday evening.
Gregory assembled a 157-147 overall record during her tenure leading the Red Raiders, including an NCAA tournament berth during the 2019 season. Texas Tech assembled their finest campaign under her leadership in 2019, with a 42-16 overall record and a regional final appearance.
On the 2020 season, Texas Tech owned a 17-9 overall record, including wins over South Carolina and Georgia.
Gregory previously spent four years on staff at Sam Houston State, and her resume also includes stints on staff at Texas A&M and Utah. She was an all-Big 12 award winner during her playing career at Texas A&M.
Following the 2019 season, Texas Tech signed Gregory to a 5-year contract extension that would have run through the 2024 campaign.
