TRENDING NOW: NCAA TRANSFER TRACKER / COLLEGE COACHING TRACKER
Ohio is hiring Andrew Stover as an assistant coach, JWOS has confirmed.
Stover spent the past two seasons as the volunteer assistant at Virginia Tech, where he served as the Hokies’ first-base coach. While at VT, Stover was part of the staff that guided the Hokies to a Super Regional berth in 2021.
Prior to his tenure at Virginia Tech, Stover was a high school baseball coach in Virginia for four years and previously served in the US Army.
At Ohio, Stover joins a Bobcat program that posted a 21-26 overall record in 2021 with a 17-21 showing in conference play and a team batting average of .289. The Bobcats reached the NCAA tournament in 2018 and finished 11-15 during the abbreviated 2020 campaign.
