Jenny Rohn has been named the head coach at Covenant College.
Rohn spent the last three seasons as an assistant coach at Harvard, and was part of the coaching staff that led the Crimson to back-to-back appearances in the NCAA tournament in 2018 and 2019. The Crimson recorded a 30-12 record against Ivy League opponents during the same two seasons, and had not begun conference play prior to the abrupt end of the 2020 season.
Prior to her most recent stint at Harvard, Rohn’s coaching resume included a single season as a graduate assistant at Louisiana-Monroe. She also served as a volunteer assistant at Harvard for the 2016 season, and coached at the high school level in her home state of Michigan.
Covenant College is a Division III school located in Lookout Mountain, Georgia. The school competes in the USA South Athletic Conference and is one of five schools from the state of Georgia in the league. The Lady Scots’ softball program posted a 2-10 record during the abbreviated 2020 season. Rohn replaces Brie Carmack as head coach.
