TRENDING NOW: NCAA TRANSFER TRACKER / COLLEGE COACHING TRACKER
Two former Washington players have announced plans to transfer to Louisiana-Lafayette.
Stormy Kotzelnick and Ari Quinones, the only uncommitted Huskies remaining in the transfer portal, each announced their plans to become Ragin Cajuns on their social media accounts.
“WA✈️LA. Proud to say that I trusted this process and got my girl with me. All glory to God and Geaux Cajuns,” Kotzelnick wrote on Instagram Tuesday night.
“Forever indebted to the sport and the opportunities it has brought me! Blessed to announce that I will be furthering my academic and athletic career at the University of Louisiana Lafayette! Oh yeah and i get to do it with my best friend,” Quinones wrote in her own post, adding the “geauxcajuns” hashtag.
Kotzelnick did not see the field during the 2021 season in Seattle; Quinones batted .385 in thirteen at-bats. She notched four RBIs and an on-base percentage of .429.
Both players are participating in the Florida Gulf Coast League this summer.
