When Adrian Gregory stepped down as Texas Tech's head coach last week, the coaching carousel began to heat up once again. Despite the controversy surrounding Gregory's resignation and the circumstances leading up to it, the Red Raiders' head coaching position is a solid job as the program has trended upwards in the last couple of years.
Despite no postseason appearances in the first four years of her tenure, Gregory led the program to the NCAA tournament and a regional final appearance in 2019, and collected a 17-9 overall record in 2020 that included a pair of wins over SEC foes. The team returns an impressive nucleus of talent for the '21 campaign, including returning seniors Karli Hamilton and Missy Zoch.
Could one of these candidates be the next head coach in Lubbock?
