Texas has added another transfer, with former Houston pitcher Logan Hulon joining the Longhorns squad. Hulon announced her destination on social media, writing “houston -> transfer portal -> AUSTINHOOK’EM BABY!” During her two seasons at Houston, Hulon posted a 3.54 ERA with ten wins and 130.2 innings pitched. Jen Starek has been hired as the new head coach at UMass-Lowell, the school announced on Monday. Starek spent the last fifteen years as the head coach at New Haven and became the program’s all-time winningest head coach during her tenure. She led the Chargers to nine postseason appearances, including a Super Regional berth in 2010. The program went 28-9 during the 2021 season.
