Fairleigh Dickinson and head coach Katherine “KJ” Kelley have parted ways.
Kelley had been head coach at FDU for two years and recorded a 17-71 record during her tenure. That number included a 6-26 mark in Northeast Conference play. The Knights went 5-37 in 2017 with a 1-115 record in conference play.
Prior to FDU, Kelley spent two seasons as the head coach at the University of Mary, where she collected a career record of 57-53 and was a single game over the .500 mark (28-27) in Northern Sun conference matchups.
In addition to Mary, Kelley’s resume includes stints as an assistant at Toledo, Vermont, and UMass, her alma mater.
As a player at UMass, Kelley earned four all-conference and three all-region honors and spent three seasons in the National Pro Fastpitch league following her collegiate career.
