Dubbing Show the “Queen of Bat Flips”, the Scrap Yard ownership acted fast, inking Show to a professional contract just days after her collegiate career ended with Oklahoma State in the Women’s College World Series.
A transfer from Texas A&M, Show spent a single season with the Cowgirls, collecting twenty home runs and a .333 batting average on the year. She hit a pair of home runs in the Women’s College World Series opener for her team, providing the only offense for her squad en route to advancing through the winner’s bracket.
Show also buoyed her team with more than 200 innings of work in the pitching circle, collecting a 2.34 ERA and a 22-10 overall record on the year, earning Third-Team All-American honors after the season. Show also earned a significant amount of recognition and made headlines during the season for her bat flipping after long home runs.
During her career at Texas A&M, Show was named to the all-SEC freshman team in 2016 and earned a pair of all-region first-team honors in 2017 and ’18.
Based in Houston, Texas, the Scrap Yard franchise is scheduled to play a month-long summer schedule, including as part of the International Cup and Canada Cup tournaments and a number of exhibition games against Team USA.
