Rutgers head coach Kristen Butler has signed a contract extension, JWOS has learned. Butler’s new deal was officially ratified in the last week; JWOS viewed a copy off the contract through a public record request. The deal will keep Butler at the helm of the Scarlet Knights’ program through the 2025 season and extends her previous deal, which was set to expire in 2022. She will maintain her current salary structure. During her tenure at Rutgers, Butler owns a 47-76 overall record. Sahvanna Jaquish is leaving the Dixie State coaching staff. Jaquish revealed her departure in a postgame press conference during the final weekend of the Athletes Unlimited professional season. “Actually, I’m not going back to Dixie State,” Jaquish said during the press conference. “I chose another route that would help me train and be more prepared for next [Athletes Unlimited] season.” The 2021 season was Jaquish’s first on staff at Dixie State, coinciding with the Trailblazers’ inaugural year as a Division 1 program.
